Pictogram-voting-question.svg Question @Archaeodontosaurus: What's your complaint with this one? -- Jim Evans (talk) 02:10, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

There are two types of error: the clipping is not complete, and the general layer is too large by 5 to 10px which leaves a blurry area on the entire flower. If you hadn't cut out and left the original image you might have had a better result. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 05:34, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
That issue can barely be seen at 100%. I find it beyond credibility it can be seen at 360x480 pixels. I remind you the rules say "The image must look good on-screen at the review size (e.g. 480 × 360 pixels for a standard 4:3 landscape image)". In my opinion we should either follow the rules or amend them. I was unable to understand what your comment "clipping is incomplete" referred to. -- Jim Evans (talk) 13:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment It is a really poor quality image and I cannot understand why someone would want to offer it as a potential VI. At least we are not obliged to vote in favour of this image. I do think the rules are too lax. These days we should expect a reasonaable level of competence on post-processing.    ? Done I have reverted to the original picture as you suggested -- Jim Evans (talk) 13:21, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
