  • Promotion Good quality. --Ralf Roletschek 00:21, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Sorry, I disagree; it's too noisy and lacking in sharpness for me. It's a noble effort, being a dark indoors place, but then again - if such shots were easy, everybody would be doing it.--Peulle 08:27, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Sorry, I agree with Peulle. -- Ikan Kekek 10:46, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

✓ Done Denoised and sharpened a bit (the top is less sharp because of the perspective correction), and anyway, I don't understand why if you find it a difficult situation, to raise the bar. --C messier 13:29, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Comment I didn't mean to suggest the bar is raised, I meant to suggest that you made a good effort in a difficult situation but still came out with a result not quite good enough for QI.--Peulle 19:22, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Support - This looks good enough for QI to me now. -- Ikan Kekek 02:06, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

  •  Question The image is lower than 2MP in size. I realize it's not a photo, but should it not be larger? We should discuss it at CR.--Peulle 21:35, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Oppose Still no input? Then I will oppose for the time being; QI images should be +2MP.--Peulle 09:12, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose - On the face of it, it's way too small for QI. If someone has a good rationale for making an exception, please give it, and if it's convincing, I'd be happy to change my vote. -- Ikan Kekek 10:00, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Comment Yes, that sounds reasonable. I have declined all the other images below 2MP (but accepted those above 2MP), and if someone feels there is a good reason to make an exception, we can discuss it here.--Peulle 18:46, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Comment I've accepted one of these images because as it's not a photo and I think that for possible applications it's quite good. However, you're right and it doesn't meet strictly the QI requirements (which are made for photos). We've seen diagrams here and they were promoted. Perhaps we should decide that this is only for photos and nothing else? --Basotxerri 21:23, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Comment I'd be content with that, but shouldn't that be a policy decision somewhere visible, rather than just an individual decision on x-number of images at CR? -- Ikan Kekek 02:09, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
Comment What are "possible applications"? Sorry, printed to A4 size all those images appear blocky. I believe, printing to A4 is not an extremely unusual use. --Smial 19:25, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Support it´s a fantastic work and series. QI, because of a non photographic work. Could be better, if it is a vector graphic (even when I don´t think, that it´s possible). --Hubertl 03:43, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Comment Sorry Hubertl, it is not a vector graphic: It's png, not svg--Lmbuga 02:20, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
The original must have been - at least partly - a vector graphic, Lmbuga! --Hubertl 07:33, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Comment All the images have been moved to CR now, but I think we should keep the discussion in a single place, so I moved this to the top. I'm genuinely not sure what is the right decision here, because there is definitely a lower limit to what can be accepted as a QI image, no matter the manner of production. If this was a 50x50 drawing, it would not be good enough. So where exactly do we draw the limit?
Here is the relevant passage from the Guidelines: "Bitmapped images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF) should normally have at least 2 megapixels; reviewers may demand more for subjects that can be photographed easily. This is because images on Commons may be printed, viewed on monitors with very high resolution, or used in future media. This does not apply to vector graphics (SVG)."
Obviously, this is not a photograph, so normal rules may not appply the same way. What I suggest is that we look at the intention of the rule: These images should be possible to print or view on high res. monitors in the future. Does this sound like a good starting point for reviewing the images?--Peulle 07:49, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
Sure. And what do you think is the answer to that question for for this series? -- Ikan Kekek 12:09, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Per others. Good work but less then 2 MP. I think a VI-nomination would be more appropriate. --Milseburg 12:27, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
  • ✓ Done The author upload new version (more than 2MP). Right? —Niklitov 13:02, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
    • No. Right now, it is 0.24 Megapixel. Yann 17:00, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
      • Thank you! I think this is the best possible quality for png (shoulder straps). More only SVG. Sorry. Indeed, this is not the picture of the city. I propose to clarify the rules for drawing. Good? —Niklitov 19:10, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
  •  Comment - I would again observe that if we are changing the rules, we should do so formally, not just at CR, because we don't want this to come up again as a controversy, once it's resolved. -- Ikan Kekek 23:01, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
