Consensual review[edit]

File:Johanneskirken,_Bergen,_Noruega,_2019-09-08,_DD_75-77_HDR.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Johanneskirken, Bergen, Norway --Poco a poco 10:26, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Overexposed on the left --MB-one 12:03, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
Agree, and that would be a killer criteria for FP IMHO, but not sure here, please, let others judge it --Poco a poco 10:47, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Per MBone and all other parts are excellent done --Michielverbeek 06:29, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Increasing unsharpness in the upper image area probably due to perspective correction. Overprocessed: filling overexposed area with some light gray is a "no go". Often seen in images with burnt highlights in white clouds (also "no go"), here now at a window. That's worse than simple overexposure. --Smial 09:38, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Total: 0 support (excluding the nominator), 3 oppose → Declined   --Milseburg 22:45, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

File:Altare_Adorazione_del_Bambino_Gambara_Santi_Faustino_e_Giovita_Brescia.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Altarpiece by Lattanzio Gambara in the Santi Faustino e Giovita church, Brescia. --Moroder 04:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Promotion
  •  Support Good quality. --Tournasol7 05:11, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I don't like the picture. Firstly, there is the unfavorable perspective, which, however, was perhaps inevitable. But the color is very bad, too much blue in the altarpiece and in the columns. Let us discuss whether it is still a quality image. You may also be able to correct the colors. -- Spurzem 09:26, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment It's not a problem of WB. That was the light that morning in that church. Church interiors have very special light due also to stained glass windows etc. The angle was the best to reduce reflections on the altarpiece.--Moroder 08:23, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support I agree that in churches you often have difficult light conditions, not only regarding darkness, but also different colour temperatures. Obviously this is the case here, too, and because sharpness etc. are very good, I do not see this as a big problem. If the light is bluish, it should be OK for a photo to show this. --Aristeas 09:59, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
