Consensual review[edit]

File:Altar_San_Antone_church_Urtijëi.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Allegories of the theological virtues of the on a antependium in the Antony church in Urtijëi. --Moroder 15:23, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Noisy and off-center perspective (fixable), tight crop on the top --Trougnouf 17:42, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
  • I disagree, looks pretty much like revenge review --Moroder 18:44, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment I did look at your nominations (and your page) wondering about your style / standards when I noticed that you had declined most of my current pictures and that's what lead me to this picture of yours. This review is as always unbiased and I think fits the rest of them, I find the off-angle very disturbing (especially for a long-exposure shot) but it's fixable like the noise, and the crop isn't good. I can kindof understand the statues being cut off since you are capturing the altar, but there's a mysterious cut-off thing poking to the top, and even the carpet has its corner cut off. This picture seems a bit lazy and I'm sure you can see the reasons I listed in my decline considering the work you typically display is of high quality. By the way I didn't comment on File:Saint Rupert detail San Antone church Urtijëi.jpg then because I didn't want you to feel like I was "avenging my pictures" but I agree with Peulle in that the staff is disturbingly blurry which doesn't fit/bring anything to the picture. --Trougnouf 19:24, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Weak  Support - OK, what looks like color noise, for instance on the painting above, is disturbing to me, but only at full size, which is really large. At 300% of full screen, the picture looks OK to me. Of course Moroder, if you'd like to denoise a bit and that helps, go ahead. -- Ikan Kekek 21:55, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Neutral Noise is not very disturbing but the composition is no QI. -- Spurzem 08:54, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
  • As for Spurzem, but  Oppose because of crop. --Smial 13:54, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I have to admit that Trougnouf makes a good point here. The off-centre angle is fine as far as QIs are concerned; I wouldn't vote for it in FPC, but we do need quality images from different angles on Commons, so it's not a deal-breaker. The noise is acceptable considering the high resolution and poor light conditions. However, the composition has a problem with the top and bottom crop: there is room on the bottom, yet the top cuts off parts of the actual altar. Oh and btw. about the possibilities of "revenge votes", let's try to assume good faith as far as possible, and if you disagree with someone's review, use the CR system. Opinions differ on Commons, sometimes greatly. --Peulle 14:29, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment @Smial: , @Peulle: I uploaded a file with a new crop. Thanks for the comments --Moroder 07:35, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
Comment I appreciate the effort, but it still cuts off part of the golden thing on the altar. Not fixable, IMO, unless you have lots more room on top in the RAW file.--Peulle 17:19, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

  • Decline
  •  Support Good quality. --GT1976 13:11, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Sorry but I disagree: the image is tilted or needs a perspective correction, check the verticals of the buildings. --Basotxerri 16:07, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose per Basotxerri---Peulle 07:39, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose per Basotxerri. --Sandro Halank 11:16, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
