Consensual review[edit]

File:Cheerleader-Pearls-SPD-Familienfest-Oberhausen-2016.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Group photo of the cheerleading company Oberhausener Cheer and Dance e.V. --Tuxyso 20:06, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

  •  Oppose Sorry, that crop on the right may have been difficult to avoid but it is exactly the kind of thing that separates a normal snapshot from a QI. --Peulle 21:47, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Comment Please stick to the QI criteria. Crop is a matter of taste, no reason to decline. --Tuxyso 03:41, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
    •  Comment Wrong. Check the QI Guidelines. Under "composition", you find the "too tight crop". In this case, the fact that part of the subject (one of the cheerleaders) is cropped out shows that there is a weakness in the composition. In my opinion this makes it a typical example of an image that is not well-composed enough to be a QI. --Peulle (talk) 11:01, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose composition is part of the QI criteria. Although I rarely reject images only because of composition issues: Here we have a half cut person, that's a no go in a group photo. -- Smial 11:26, 4 July 2016 (UTC)  Neutral -- Smial 08:30, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
  • ✓ Done fixed the crop at the right. Please take another look, Smial and Peulle. --Tuxyso 17:16, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Support That seems OK now. --Peulle 20:18, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

  •  Comment I have marked several stitching errors visible by examining the power cables. --Peulle 21:21, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
    •  Comment Thanks for reviewing, Peulle, I made a complete reprocessing with PTGui now. Please check again! Now I finally realized, that even this simple panorama can´t be a Photoshop job. --Hubertl 07:31, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
    •  Comment I know it's difficult, but I still see several errors. Follow the power lines closely and you can see them too (see annotations).--Peulle 15:14, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Support Such high-voltage lines destroy the landscape and are an unsightly challenge when making panoramas. In the new version I can´t see stitching errors any more. --Milseburg 18:36, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I'm overruling Milseburg and sending this to CR; if he cannot see those errors he must be blind. Whether they "destroy the landscape" is irrelevant: they are there. --Peulle 20:02, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Comment Maybe, Peule, you have to refresh your cache. --Milseburg 20:08, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
    •  Comment As far as I can see, the powerlines are ok, no stitching errors left. Please refresh your cache. --Hubertl 05:56, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Support I did refresh yesterday so I'm not sure what happened there. The image looks OK now. Good job. :) --Peulle 11:10, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

File:Real del Monte (1).JPG[edit]

  • Nomination Mine in Real del Monte, Hidalgo, Mexico. --Marrovi 02:29, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Support Good quality. --Ralf Roletschek 16:02, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I disagree: Magenta CA in the windows --Cccefalon 04:31, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose  Comment Might be purple fringing. There is only very slight and negligible CA, but several areas with high contrast that show broad blue resp. purple edges, not only in the windows. -- Smial 08:06, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Insufficient qual. for me. CA, unsharp, perspective... --A.Savin 11:27, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
