Consensual review[edit]

File:Harvesting seaweed in Jambiani.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Winner of WLA 2017 --Rodrigo.Argenton 17:40, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Comment - Good quality, but needs a more descriptive filename. I would also expect some people to object to the POV/non-encyclopedic tone of the file description, but I would support/promote with that unchanged. -- Ikan Kekek 18:50, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
  • "non-encyclopedic", we are not Wikipedia, we do not need "encyclopedic tone", and this is a beautiful description, we have structured data to a colder description, and we are evaluating the quality of the image. --Rodrigo.Argenton 03:01, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
    • Stop ignoring my main point, which is that the file needs a more descriptive filename. If you insist on doing that, I will decline. -- Ikan Kekek 06:58, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
      •  Oppose for now, until the filename is made more descriptive. -- Ikan Kekek 07:18, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Your point is not valid, simple as that. This retaliation is quite bizarre, this is a superb image, is shameful not be QI and this posture is not helpful. -- Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton m 16:53, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment - It's your accusation of "retaliation" that's bizarre. My objection is very clear and reflects the guidelines that are laid out in black and white among the QI criteria. My opposition has nothing to do with your refusal to acknowledge my point, except inasmuch as that causes the problem with the unclear filename to remain unchanged. -- Ikan Kekek 04:14, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support - the image is amazing, the description on structured data and the summary is much better than many other images have, so I feel this can be promoted even with the not optimal file name. --Kritzolina 17:13, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Tilted 1.5°cw. The guidelines (see above) recommend a meaningful name for a QI. --Milseburg (talk) 21:15, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose tilted enough to be distracting. Seven Pandas 21:48, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose per Milseburg. --Smial 09:15, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
Total: 1 support (excluding the nominator), 4 oppose → Declined   --Peulle 11:08, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
