  •  Question There is a stitching error at the ropes near the center (see annotation), fixable? --Llez 16:58, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Comment Yes, wonderful. Should be FPC. If fixed. --XRay 16:59, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Oppose for now - I will be happy to support this photo here and at FPC, but only when the stitching errors are fixed. It's too obvious to see ropes that don't meet for me to consider this currently a QI. -- Ikan Kekek 18:52, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
  • ✓ Done New try --Berthold Werner 11:03, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
  • It is very difficult. There are still 2 stitching errors. And the web between the wires is still a problem too. --XRay 13:06, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Support - I'm not seeing stitching errors anymore. -- Ikan Kekek 21:17, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
  • There's now a new Versin from LivioAndronico --Berthold Werner 07:19, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Support There are still very minor stitching errors, but IMO no problem. Thanks. --XRay 17:41, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Please check the ropes, there are several stitching errors --Llez 17:45, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
Support Sorry, browser cache was not erased --Llez 19:23, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Support Very good for me. I don't see the errors. -- Spurzem 18:22, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Support Good job: without remembering the first version I would not be able to find the stitch on the ropes. --PtrQs 21:41, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

  •  Support Good quality. --Basotxerri 20:37, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Oppose let's discuss. to me it's too strong distortet. --Ralf Roletschek 00:37, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Oppose same like Ralf. Hilarmont 23:15, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
  •  Comment The process of seeing consists of some very complex and deep-set rules and filters in our mind. One of the rules is, that parallel lines converge to a single point in infinity. Our QI-goal of an isomectric view with strict parallel lines contradicts this mental expectation. So the viewers subconscious feels somehow betrayed by images with strict parallel lines, espacially when the sheer height, like in this case, is enormous. The effect is that the object seems to be bulged. In my experience this dilemma between a correct isometric display and our feeling for the accustomed 'right' view can only be solved by allowing a small perspective deviation correlated with the height of the object. I know that this includes the risk of comments like 'distorted perspective', but sometimes the 'look and feel' of an image is more importent than the submissive obedience to hard rules. So I would vote for this image, if the non-perspective could be a bit 'defused'. HTH, --PtrQs 23:41, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

  •  Oppose Imprecise composition - there is a roomy crop on top but cut off the guitar hand on the bottom. --Peulle 15:40, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
    • @Peulle: I discussed with the photographer: The pic is not cropped and directly taken from the original. One way to handle would be to crop a bit higher and leave out the whole hand - I think this could work. -- Achim Raschka 18:46, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
Done, please have a second look -- Achim Raschka 11:24, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

  •  Neutral I am not fascinated though the face is very good. But the neck of the instrument and the hand are not sharp. -- Spurzem 18:30, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
    • We are talking about concert photography: a guitar player of a metal crossover band playing live at the Alterna Stage at Rock am Ring, photo taken from the photographers pit - there is technically no chance to have face an guitar sharp at the same picture ... -- Achim Raschka 20:18, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
Comment I agree; in a concert setting, having a deep DoF would be almost impossible.--Peulle 08:03, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
I thought the hand of player and neck of guitar were important. But I am glad to be informed now. -- Spurzem 08:26, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
