Hverfjall, located in northern Iceland's Mývatn region, is a rare example of a tuff ring volcano. Its diameter spans approx. 1 km. A glimps of Lake Mývatn can be spotted in the background.

  •  Info new version! Thanks Yann, you're right. First I was afraid that cropping too much of the sky could weaken the stark contrast of black and blue that was imo important for the general balance of the image. But the new compo works just fine.
