What is the current status of this category? Till which date the files have been processed yet? --Arnd (talk) 12:47, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think I reached the limits of what CatScan2 can do and my queries are timing out. It might be time to find someone to run a query on the database to find all the files that do not have a infobox and are not in Category:Media missing infobox template or subcategories. Something similar to User:Jarekt/SQL#No_license_Query. --Jarekt (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What hinders you to run this query? Or do you mean something else than using toollabs for this query? --Arnd (talk) 14:37, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I never spend time to figure out how to run stuff on toollabs. I tried once or twice and each time it took a lot of work to figure out how to do things and next time I needed it my account was expired. So in the past I usually used Query request service. --Jarekt (talk) 18:26, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So i can try to run the query when i find time. --Arnd (talk) 19:17, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. --Jarekt (talk) 19:29, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jarekt: Just trying to execute the SQL query. For help, could you please provide me the CatScan query you were usually using? --Arnd (talk) 19:53, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I usually just used the second query on the Category:Media missing infobox template page: this CatScan2 query but was replacing the 300 hours with a date bracket. --Jarekt (talk) 01:22, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jarekt: Just started working on a query to find the all files for this category. I picked your linked Catscan query and converted and tested it: http://quarry.wmflabs.org/query/2549. However this seems not to be the right query for the parsing errors. I think it is more for the category of missing Information template. Any hint? How did u feed your JarektBot? --Arnd (talk) 12:37, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Pages using Information template with parsing errors was populated by the same query as Category:Media missing infobox template. However while I was adding Category:Media missing infobox template if I detected "\{\{[Ii]nformation" in the page text than I added Category:Pages using Information template with parsing errors instead of Category:Media missing infobox template. Also latter when looking at files in Category:Media missing infobox template if I detected "|author=", "|source=" fields than I moved files to Category:Pages using Information template with parsing errors. About the query: you do not need to only include files with "License_template_tag". I used that in CatScan query only because CatScan can not deal with a queries in the format "all files that do not have..." but can deal with queries "All files that meet some criteria but do not have ...". --Jarekt (talk) 14:36, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Arnd thanks for showing me http://quarry.wmflabs.org/query I have never run into it before and last time I tied direct querying it was very complicated. I will see if I can get it to work. --Jarekt (talk) 16:03, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jarekt: U r welcome. I adapted the query a little bit. It successfully completed with 14461 results. Maybe you could feed it into your Bot? --Arnd (talk) 16:11, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Running again. There is one more improvement to doin the querry the cl_to line should be cl_to IN ("Media_missing_infobox_template", "Artworks missing infobox template‎", "Items with OTRS permission missing infobox template‎", "Pages using Information template with parsing errors‎") or we need some other way to get subcategories of Media_missing_infobox_template. --Jarekt (talk) 16:31, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Further cleaning[edit]

Hi MaxxL, there are less than 300 remaining files to clean when executing the searches linked on the category page. Maybe you find some time to tackle them... --Arnd (talk) 16:42, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey MaxxL, the category has been filled recently again by a bot. Maybe you are willing to perform an early-year-cleaning. --Arnd (talk) 06:29, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
