Фотографии китайгородских торговых рядов, построенных вскоре после пожара 1812 года, сделаны в 1886 году, незадолго до того, как городская дума приняла решение о сносе рядов. Фотографии с 1 по 21 изображают Верхние торговые ряды, фотографии с 22 по 32 изображают Средние торговые ряды. Ко времени публикации фотографий большая их часть уже была снесена.

English: 32 photographs from Москва. Городские ряды. (Moscow. Municipal Trade Rows), a photo album by Nikolay Naidenov (1834-1905). The old trade rows were built in Kitai-gorod after the fire of 1812. In 1886 Naidenov documented external appearance and inner life of the decrepit shopping area. Plates 1 to 21 show the Upper Rows, plates 22 to 32 show the Middle Rows. Later in 1886 the city authorities condemned it for demolition. By the time of publication (1890) most of the old Trade Rows were already razed to make way for the new Upper Trade Rows and the new Middle Trade Rows.
