English: Valentin Fyodorovich Botenkov — photographer, athlete and politician from Pereslavl. He was born July 10, 1940 in Pereslavl. In 1966 he graduated from the Yaroslavl Pedagogical Institute as the teacher of physical education. In 1967—1975 he worked as a teacher of physical education and labour in 9th school, in 1975-2003 in 7th school. In 1978—1987 he worked in several pioneer camps as physical education instructor, swimming instructor, camp director. Since 2003 works as a coach in table tennis at the Children's youthful sports school. For many years led a photographic club. Awarded with the «Excellence in Public Education». A member of the election commission on 396 precinct. Member of Pereslavl City Council in 2th and 3rd convocations (Communist Party).
Русский: Валентин Фёдорович Ботенков — переславский фотограф, спортсмен, политик. Родился 10 июля 1940 года в Переславле. В 1966 году закончил Ярославский педагогический институт как предподаватель физического воспитания. В 1967—1975 годах работал учителем труда и физкультуры в школе №9, в 1975—2003 годах в школе №7. В 1978—1987 годах работал в пионерских лагерях инструктором физкультуры, плавания, директором лагеря. С 2003 года работает тренером по настольному теннису в Детской юношеской спортивной школе. Много лет вёл фотографический кружок. Отличник народного образования. Член участковой избирательной комиссии по 396 избирательному участку. Депутат городской Думы 2 и 3 созывов от КПРФ.
