Hubertus Knitwear and Weaving Factory – Garment Factory – Unicon. In 1911, Dezső Deutsch, Iván Deutsch, Vilmos Deutsch and Lajos Fuchs, wholesalers from Gyula, established a knitwear and weaving factory with 50-60 workers in the city. By 1920, the factory had already employed three hundred workers, and certain items – such as svetters, knee stockings, women's jerseys and bolero jackets – were produced exclusively here in Hungary. The weaving factory was located in a wing building of Hubertus built around 1920. This factory (part) produced blankets, curtains, home canvases, towels, kitchen towels, lining canvases, furniture covers without machines, using homemade looms with 200+ employees. The patterns and designs were made by István Weisz, foreman, director and Samu Filippinyi, painter and applied artist. In 1923 a new, two-storey plant/wing? was built for the yarn warehouse and ready-to-wear production. In 1925, the factory building/wing? for fashionable knitwear and gloves was expanded. The textile mill/yarn? factory was built in 1939. It was nationalized in 1948. In 1950, the Békéscsaba Garment Factory started production in the building with 70 employees. The building has been remodeled and in 1954 with over a thousand employees, it became the largest plant in the whole county - 5 Illésházi Street and Trefort Street corner, Downtown, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

Hubertus Kötöttáru- és Szövőgyár – Ruhagyár – Unicon (1911) Az első világháború előtt a gyár a temesvári fonógyár által feldolgozott gyapjút használta. 1950-ben az épületben a Békéscsabai Ruhagyár kezdte meg a termelést.
