The Loftrium Building at 815-819 South Wabash Avenue between East 9th and East 8th Streets in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois was purchased by East-West University in 1999. It is referred to as the "West Building", as it lies west of the university's main building at 819 S. Michigan Avenue (the "East Building"), to which it is connected by a footbridge on the third floor. The building, said to have designed by Christian A. Eckstrom (??), was completed in 1909, when it was called the "Munn Building", and renovated in 1986. It has an 8-story central atrium. (Source: [1], [2],[3])
