The Tasuanu is a historical gold weight of the Akan in Ghana and the Ivory Coast for the weighing of gold dust.

The name "Tasuanu" means "1 Ta + 1 Suanu" or "1 Ta + 4 * 1 Sua". The Suffix "-nu" means the fourfold of something.
