English: Sugar Beach is a park on the east side of the Jarvis slip. It is directly across from the Redpath Sugar Refinery, hence the name. The sand shipped to the beach has especially large grains, somewhat resembling coarse brown sugar. The park is sprinkled by Muskoka chairs and large umbrellas. The umbrellas were originally red, and have been bleached pink. Hidden wires power lights that can be turned on, inside the hollow umbrellas, which originally cost $12,000 each.

Although the beach is artificial, and swimming is not possible, it is popular with sunbathers, in the summer.

The southern edge of the Beach provides a good view of activity in Toronto's harbour.
