English: The Sabatini Gardens (in Spanish Jardines de Sabatini) are formal gardens with a reflecting pool and statues of monarchs from circa 1750s. They are located at the north façade of the Royal Palace of Madrid (Spain). The gardens were begun in 1933 at the location of the former royal stables, designed by Italian architect Francesco Sabatini (1722–1797) for whom the park is named, and completed in the late 1970s. They were opened to the public by King Juan Carlos I in 1978.
