Roc Nation is a management consulting, media and entertainment company, including musicians, songwriters, producers, DJs, and engineer management; music publishing, touring & merchandising; film & television; new business ventures; and a music label. Artists signed and managed by Roc Nation partake in full-rights deals, which are all encompassing and include ticket sales, record sales and all forms of endorsements. The company was founded in 2008 by entrepreneur Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, after securing a 10-year US$ 152 million business deal with live-events company.
