English: The Royal Scot is the name of a charter train hired out by Riviera Trains to railtour operators. It consists of a rake of British Railways Mark 1 and Mark 2 coaches in a "Crimson Lake & Cream" livery (known colloquially as Blood & Custard). This was the livery originally applied to Mk 1 coaches by British Railways, and the rake is complete with British Railways crests and Royal Scot running boards. Coded internally as OM02, the set was launched on 11 April 2008 with the announcement of a £500,000 refurbishment programme on the Mk1 stock, as well as the securing of rights to use the historic Royal Scot name from Virgin Trains.
