English: Oizumi Nobuo, Oizumi is the family name, is a Japanese novelist. He was born in Tokyo on 13 July, 1916 and suffered from Hansen's disease to be hospitalized on 26 July, 1933. Since patients of the disease were considerably discriminated in Japan they must have concealed their identities so that Oizumi Nobuo is different from his real name, but the latter is unknown. He died on 24 January, 1945
