English: The New England Conservatory of Music building, located at 290-94 Huntington Avenue, was built in 1901 and was designed in the Classical Revival style by Wheelwright and Haven. Founded in 1867, the conservatory occupied two previous buildings, but this one was built specifically for them. In 1904, a concert hall, Jordan Hall, was added. (Source: AIA Guide to Boston (2nd ed.)) The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a National Historic Landmark.
