English: This monument to Miguel de Cervantes (1547–1616) is at the Plaza de España ("Spain Square") in Madrid (Spain). It was designed by architects Rafael Martínez Zapatero and Pedro Muguruza and sculptor Lorenzo Coullaut Valera. Most of the monument was built between 1925 and 1930, and it was finished between 1956 and 1957 by Federico Coullaut-Valera (Lorenzo Coullaut's son), who sculpted the statues of Aldonza Lorenzo and Dulcinea. In 1960 two sculptural groups were added: Rinconete and Cortadillo and The Little Gypsy Girl, also made by Federico Coullaut-Valera.

Fue proyectado por los arquitectos Rafael Martínez Zapatero y Pedro Muguruza y el escultor Lorenzo Coullaut Valera. Se construyó en su mayor parte entre 1925 y 1930, y fue terminado entre 1956 y 1957 por Federico Coullaut-Valera (hijo de Lorenzo Coullaut), quien esculpió las estatuas de Aldonza Lorenzo y Dulcinea. En 1960 se añadieron los grupos escultóricos de Rinconete y Cortadillo y La Gitanilla, también realizados por Federico Coullaut-Valera.

Il a été dessiné par les architectes Rafael Martinez Zapatero et Pedro Muguruza, et le sculpteur Lorenzo Coullaut-Valera. La plus grande partie du monument fut construite entre 1925 et 1930, et il fut terminé entre 1956 et 1957 par Federico Coullaut-Valera Mendigutia, fils de Lorenzo, qui réalisa également les deux groupes sculptés installés en 1960: Rinconete et Cortadillo et la petite Gitane.
