English: The MIT Museum, located in MIT Building N51 at 275 Massachusetts Avenue at the corner of Front Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was founded in 1971 by Warren Seamans as the "MIT Historical Collections"; it was renamed the MIT Museum in 1980. It shares Building N51 – which was designed by Donald Desgranges – with other MIT programs. According to the Museum's website, it will be moving to the Kendall Square area in 2021.
