English: Louis S. Marsh Mansion, 6604 Lake Washington Blvd., Kirkland, Washington. The Marsh Mansion and grounds (Lot 1) are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the last great historic mansions left in Kirkland. The Mansion Grounds were designed by the famed architect who designed Butchart Gardens. As noted in the King county tax records, LOT #1, the Marsh Mansion, is Tax ID 516700-0010 and the Parcel Plot #516700 includes 27,448 square feet or .6301 acres. Lot #1 includes an expansive lawn, a guardhouse, three parking spots, and a back yard area utilized by the various owners of Lot 1 over the years. The Marsh Mansion/Lot #1 was purchased in 2006 by Paul Barry, part owner of the Seattle Sounders, who has worked closely with the Kirkland Historic Society while restoring the mansion to its original charm as a residence.
