Deutsch: Die Jüngeren Laxálaven (isländisch: Laxárhraun yngra) sind ein großer Lavastrom, der vor ca. 2.300 Jahren aus den Kraterreihen der Lúdentsborgir and Þrengslaborgir in das Gebiet des Sees de:Mývatn vordrang und von dort ca. 50 km bis in die Bucht de:Skjálfandi bei de:Húsavík strömte. Es stammt aus dem kleinen Heiðarsporðar-Vulkansystem, das sich östlich des Kraflasystems befindet.
English: The Younger Laxárdalur lava flow (in Icelandic: Laxárhraun yngra) originated, 2.300 years ago, in volcanic eruptions of the Lúdentsborgir and Þrengslaborgir crater rows, part of the small Heiðarsporðar volcanic system to the east of the w:Krafla fissure swarm.
