English: Korean artist of the late 19th Century known as 'Kisan'. Also called Kim Jun-geun (김준근). A genre artist, whose works were used as book illustrations by a number of Western authors of the same era. Works by the artist are held in museum collections throughout the world.
"Nothing is known of his life except that in 1886 and 1895 he was reported as living at Ch'oryang near Pusan, and that he went to Wonsan in 1890."
