The Jewell high wheel automobile was built by the Forest City Motor Car Co.. This company was founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1905, and started production in Massillon, Ohio, in 1906. The brand name Jewell was used until 1907, and then was superseded by Jewel, in 1908. Production ended in 1909.
