English: China's entry point on the border with Vietnam, in downtown Hekou. The Vietnamese port of entry on the opposite side of the Nanxi River is the Lao Cai checkpoint. This port of entry should not be confused with the new Hekou-Kim Thành border crossing, which is located a few km northwest from downtown.
