English: The Hans Bernhard Schwerin family archive is housed in the Jewish Museum in Berlin. Additional materials are still with family members. Most images are in the public domain, however some unpublished family letters may still be under copyright, and do not appear here. The first tranche of the family papers were sent to the museum around 1998 followed by additional material in subsequent years. As of 2020 the material is still being assigned ascension numbers. Approximately a dozen items have been scanned or photographed by the museum as of 2020. In 2020 Brian Lee copied a set of photographs prior to their shipping to the museum. On 23 October 2018 Brian Keays visited the museum and imaged several documents with his iPhone. The Jewish museum writes: "The collection mainly consists of the correspondence between Hulda Schottländer and Dr. Moritz Schwerin, which was created between 1840 and 1843 when they were engaged. Hans Schwerin, a grandson of the couple, transcribed most of the letters in the 1940s; there are also transcripts of original letters that have not been preserved. The inventory is supplemented by documents, photographs and objects from the family - here in particular from Hans Schwerin and his son Ernst."
