English: Hárshegy Sandstone Formation mined around Budapest. The colour of these rock are yellow, reddish brown or greyish. Consists mainly of quartz grains (sand or small pebble size). As a hard and persistent rock, it is a much appreciated building stone in Hungary. Frequently used for public buildings in Budapest, e.g. the lower part of Erzsébet Kilátó, Budapest and several other public buildings and family houses in Buda part of Budapest.
