  • Čeština: František Zeyval (* 18. ledna 1896 Mratín – † 24. října 1942 Koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byl učitelem, starostou města a členem Sokola Kostelec nad Labem (župa Barákova). Za Protektorátu Čechy a Morava se zapojil do protiněmeckého domácího sokolského odboje, podporoval vlastence žijící v ilegalitě a materiálně podporoval členy paradesantních výsadkových skupin ANTHROPOID, SILVER A, OUT DISTANCE a INTRANSITIVE. Gestapo jej zatklo 23. července 1942 v Mladé Boleslavi. Byl vězněn v policejní věznici gestapa v Malé pevnosti v Terezíně, odtud byl 22. října 1942 deportován do KT Mauthausen. Tam byl evidován následujícího dne (tj. 23. října 1942) a dne 24. října 1942 byl v Mauthausenu popraven střelou do týla z malorážní pistole v odstřelovacím koutě při fiktivní lékařské prohlídce.
  • English: František Zeyval (* 18 January 1896 Mratín - † 24 October 1942 Mauthausen Concentration Camp) was a teacher, mayor of the town and a member of the Sokol Kostelec nad Labem (Barákova County). During the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia he joined the anti-German domestic Sokol resistance, supported patriots living underground and materially supported members of the paratroop groups ANTHROPOID, SILVER A, OUT DISTANCE and INTRANSITIVE. The Gestapo arrested him on 23 July 1942 in Mladá Boleslav. He was imprisoned in the Gestapo police prison in the Small Fortress in Terezín, from where he was deported to the Mauthausen concentration camp on 22 October 1942. He was registered there the following day (i.e. 23 October 1942) and on 24 October 1942 he was executed in Mauthausen by being shot in the back of the head with a small-calibre pistol in the sniper's corner during a fictitious medical examination.
