  • Depending on the location of its capital, it was also known as the Eyalet of Safad, Beirut, or Akka/Acre.
  • In the 19th century, the Eyalet of Sidon extended from the border with Egypt north to the Bay of Kesrouan, including the , the Jezreel Valley, and the hilly region of Galilee.
