Italiano: Fornace attiva in età imperiale nel settore residenziale e produttivo della città. Serviva proabilmente alla cottura di ceramiche ma non è escluso che possa essere servita per ottenere calce dai marmi. Fu realizzata sopra una tomba messapica a semicamera del III sec. a.C. che su uno dei lastroni di copertura è incisa la parola "tabara", in lingua messapica e lettere greche, che probabilmente significa "sacerdotessa".
English: Active in the imperial age in the residential and productive sector of the city. It was probably used for firing ceramics, but it is not excluded that it may have been used to obtain lime from marbles. It was built over a Messapian semi-chamber tomb of the 3rd century B.C. On a roof slabs the word "tabara" is carved, which probably means "priestess".
