English: Power car 43018 was part of the first order for High Speed Trains. It was delivered to the Western Region in June 1976 as part of train set 253009. After withdrawal in 2019 it was stripped for spares and then donated to the Crewe Heritage Centre near where it was built. From 1997 to 2007 it carried the name British Red Cross.
