English: The only seven completed reliefs in this exhibition were made by Antonio Canova for a project of 32 reliefs, illustrating scenes from the Bible, for the frieze on three sides of the porch of the Tempio Canoviano, the church—later his mausoleum—that he built for his home town of Possagno. He died after having completed only seven, his last masterworks.
