750 Broadway (746-75) at 1-7 Astor Place in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1881-83 and designed by the firm of Starkweather & Gibbs. The neo-Grec building was constructed as a hotel and boardinghouse with ground-level retail stores for developer Orlando B. Pooter, on land leased from the Sailors' Snug Harbor.
