The arms of the old crown of Castille and León are usually shown as quartely shield, one of spanish contributions to universal heraldry, and are today part of many coats of arms, including those of the current Spanish autonomous community of Castilla y León and of the kingdom of Spain, but also of places which were related to the crown.
