Communia or Communa?

[edit]

I have seen communa on here a lot but on other latin wikimedia projects it is all communia. Communa should be the real word, I think, because there is no such noun as communia. Should I go on an inter-project mass scale correction? --Harris Morgan 12:04, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Communia is the nominative (and accusative) plural of the noun commune, -is n., which la:Stowasser translates inter alia as goods that are belonging to the community, and which declines like mare, -is n. (nominative and accusative plural maria). On the other hand, I do not recognize the form communa – I would have thought that communa is a mistake, is it a correct word? communa -ae = common usage (a separate noun altogether). I thought that was what the original intention was. It seems that they both manage to do the job, though, so I won't need to change anything. --Harris Morgan 14:20, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

latin all wrong

[edit]

The last time the latin on this page was moderately ok was here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pagina_prima&oldid=1531590 Someone named Argentino screwed it up on June 10 2006 and since then there have been format changes all over. Is someone able to revert the latin back to the version indicated above but keep the current formating? --Rafael--124.9.3.162 23:23, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"images from ..."

[edit]

{{Edit request}}
On Main Page, the following text, Images from September 24 is in the 'content' box. On the Spanish main page, Portada, it was suggested we add Imágenes del 24 de septiembre, into the Contenido box? It has been suggested that [[{{#timel:F j|now|en}}|Imágenes del {{#timel:j "de" F|now|es}}]] be added to that page. Could this be translated for this page?

Placing this same request on over a hundred pages is just plain disruptive. It isn't even the right page. The main page is done via ONE template. --Majora (talk) 02:24, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
