The Wikipedia Usability Initiative is a project aimed at enhancing various aspects of the usability of Wikipedia for new/novice users. The project has two wikis; one where collaboration of the research, design and development takes place and the other a sandbox specifically used for testing experimental extensions which are related to the project.
