anfa genocide ceremony

good day to you, I am looking for illustrations to add in the fr:Histoire du peuple kurde and I found your photos for which I am grateful to you. What's the difference between Anfa and Anfal? And could you please tell me in which city that ceremony was held? many thanks in advance, Hope&Act3! (talk) 13:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

There is no difference between Anfa and Anfal. It's Arabic so it can be pronounced both ways. As for the ceremony: This article says Kurdish and Iraqi political leaders gathered for the solemn ceremony as 371 flag-draped coffins were laid out in neat rows in a large commercial warehouse in Erbil. Hope this helps you. ~ Zirguezi 19:57, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Çiyayê Şingal

Hello how are you? I saw the many pictures, which you took in Kurdistan. Do you have any pictures from Sinjar? There is the a article in the german wiki named de:Dschabal Sindschar. It deals with the mountain Sinjar and is a nominee for a featured article. When you have any photos, please send me a message on my discussion page at the german wiki. Best regards.--KureCewlik81 (talk) 02:20, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately I don't, Most of the pictures I took are from Sulaymaniyah Province. Sorry ~ Zirguezi 09:13, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
What a pity, but do you know other users, which might have pictures? What does your nickname mean?--KureCewlik81 (talk) 14:36, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Zirguezi. Category:Kurdistan is a comprehensive category. As you known, Category:Sulaymaniyah is part of Category:Sulaymaniyah Province, which is a part of Category:Iraqi Kurdistan. So we mustn't put Category:Kurdistan to every subordinate category. Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 12:25, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Cyaxares the Great

Hello! I see that you've added Category:Cyaxares the Great to File:Zoroastrianism Tomb Sulaymaniyah province 28.JPG and the other pictures. I'm wiling to believe this is some old Persian tomb but do you have any sources that state that this is the tomb of Cyaxares the Great? ~ Zirguezi 18:20, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Unfortunately I don't have reliable sources on this bomb, I've categorized only by en:Cyaxares the Great and some personal websites. & When you have time, could you categorize images in Category:Sulaymaniyah Province ? Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 18:28, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Elections

Hello bro. Thank you for doing this [[1]], but unfortunately it isn't correct. The actually number of seats in the parliament is 111. Do you think you can update it? Thanks 95.170.209.26 07:34, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi! I used this image from Rudaw which also lists a 100 seats. There are 111 seats but 11 of them are reserved for minorities so they aren't really up for the taking. Let me know if you still want me to make one ~ Zirguezi 08:48, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

Duhok

Hello again bro! The map you created for Duhok governorate is great [[2]], but unfortunately isn't accurate. The KRG doesn't control Tel Afar or Sinjar, and the Duhok government doesn't claim it either according to its official website: [[3]] 95.170.209.26 12:29, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello! Thanks for your comment. The map is bases on a map released by the KRG in 2009 I believe as part of a investment guide. I can't seem to find the original pdf file but I do have the JPG version of the file and it shows these districts as disputed. I don't really know if it has changes since then. It might not be claimed by Duhok governorate but by KRG. Don't really know what to make of it. Let me know if you still think the disputed districts should be removed ~ Zirguezi 21:40, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
