Es war von mir angedacht, zuerst das Originalbild hochzuladen und das dann mit dem gewünschten Bildausschnitt zu überschreiben. Images Halle - Stadtrat[edit]

Danke Zefram, Du hast natürlich Recht. Ich hab mal 'ne Frage: In der Haller Infobox ist ein Link hinter Einwohner, der direkt auf eine Netzseite verweist. Ich hätte ihn gerne als Ref unter Einzelnachweise, komme aber nicht dran. Und ich komme auch nicht an die Geodaten (Koordinaten) ganz oben rechts, die sind auch nicht ganz richtig. hast Du eine Idee? BTW: Ist meine Neubewertung für Halle denn i.O.? (Bin ja noch Newbie...) Hagar66 16:28, 5 March 2008 (CET)

Hallo Hagar66, der Link bei den Einwohnern wird über die Infobox eingefügt, überall derselbe Link für ganz Nordrhein-Westfalen. Man kann ihn nicht ersetzen.
Die Koordinaten werden in der Infobox mit den Parametern lat_deg, lat_min, lat_sec, lon_deg, lon_min und lon_sec angegeben. Im Fall von Halle war ein Parameter jedoch falsch geschrieben, jetzt müsste es stimmen.

Kategorien in Detmold[edit]

Hallo Zefram, Du hast ja ziemlich an den Kategorien von Detmold gedreht. Ich halte das so nicht für ok und schlüssig. Ich hatte mir auch überlegt, wie das am Besten zu machen ist, was nicht heißt, dass das so absolut ok war, aber das ist es jetzt in keinem Fall. Hallo R. Engelhardt, ziemlich gedreht hab ich da nicht dran. Du hattest die Architecture-Kategorie für ein Bild eingeführt. Diese Systematik war mir absolut neu, ich habe mir daher mal angesehen, wie sie bei anderen Städten eingesetzt wird. Bei anderen Städten und Gemeinden dient sie ausschließlich als Sammelkategorie für Architektur-bezogene Kategorien (also für Bauwerke, Fachwerk, Brunnen, Fenster, Treppen, etc. - siehe Category:Architecture of North Rhine-Westphalia), sofern diese existieren. Ich habe das einzelne Bild wieder daraus entfernt und die bestehenden Architektur-bezogenen Kategorien (Buildings, Fachwerk) eingeordnet. Dann hatte ich die Fachwerk-Kategorie zusätzlich als Unterkategorie der Buildings-Kategorie angegeben, da diese Bilder Häuser zeigen, aber nicht alle in der Buildings-Kategorie einsortiert waren. Das habe ich jetzt wieder geändert. Ansonsten habe ich einige Bilder der Hauptkategorie in die entsprechenden Unterkategorien eingeordnet, wo sie hingehören (Buildings, Maps, History) und die "Maps and statistics"-Kategorie aufgesplittet, wie es auch schon bei vielen anderen Städten und Gemeinden geschehen ist. PS: Weiterhin habe ich jetzt, der Systematik der Achitectures-Kategorie folgend, die Buildings nur noch dort eingeordnet. Weiterhin die Maps-Kategorie auch in die "Maps of Kreis Lippe"-Kategorie eingeordnet, ein fehlplatziertes Bild in die Kategorie Rheda-Wiedenbrück verschoben und die Kategorie People of Detmold eingerichtet. Hallo Zefram, ich hatte mich eigentlich hauptsächlich um die Kategorien Westfälisches Freilichtmuseum und Facherk gekümmert. Dass ich dabei offensichtlich auch die Architecture-Kategorie eingeführt habe, war mir nicht mehr bewusst. Manchmal ist die Kategorie-Geschichte ja sehr kompliziert. Durch Deine Korrektur Dann hatte ich die Fachwerk-Kategorie zusätzlich als Unterkategorie der Buildings-Kategorie angegeben, da diese Bilder Häuser zeigen, aber nicht alle in der Buildings-Kategorie einsortiert waren. Category:Church windows[edit]

Hallo Zefram, ich habe in den vergangenen Tagen sehr intensiv die Category:Windows sortiert. Da gibt es ein großes Problem, die z.B auch den Paderborner Dom betrifft: Die Category:Stained glass windows in Germany wird zumindest in Germany als Subcategory von Category:Church windows in Germany geführt. Natürlich sind da auch Buntglasfenster drin, die nicht in einer Kirche sind. Eine Category dazwischen zu setzen wäre eine Heidenarbeit, weil das meiste ja in die Kirchenkategorie gehört. Hast Du einen Vorschlag? Manchmal sieht man ja vor lauter Bäumen den Wald nicht mehr. Gruß, --R. Engelhardt (talk) 19:19, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Gaukirche[edit]

Hallo Zefram, ich habe die Kategorie "Gaukirche" zur Schnelllöschung angemeldet. Den Inhalt habe ich in die neue Kategorie Category:Gaukirche in Paderborn verschoben. Das ist besser, weil so in den übergeordneten Kategorien zu erkennen ist, wo die Gaukirche ist und damit die Einordnung unter "P" plausibel ist. Gruß, --R. Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze[edit]

Hallo Zefram,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen[edit]

Hallo Zefram,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.
