Hi, non-photographic images in Japan enter the public domain 50 years after the death of the creator. Who is the creator of this stam and when did he/she die? Thuresson 10:48, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Thuresson. That stamp was released by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Japan (MPT) on 25 Aug 1953. And according to article 53 of the copyright laws of Japan, a copyriht of a work bearing the name of a corporate body will be expired 50 years after released, whether the creator is alive or not.
