User talk:Willud Edier
Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump. |

When you drastically reduce an image's resolution (to 20% of the original number of pixels), you should generally not overwrite the original unresized image. AnonMoos (talk) 14:34, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
DO NOT OVERWRITE AN IMAGE WITH A LOWER-RESOLUTION IMAGE WITHOUT A VERY GOOD REASON[edit]
Unfortunately, you are in violation of the Commons policy COM:OVERWRITE, which strongly suggests against your particular type of image overwriting. If you continue with pointless upload-warring, then you might find your account being blocked. AnonMoos (talk) 05:50, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
- I reverted your replacement many files because of the loss of quality : the originals are 3400×4500 pixels, yours are about 10 times lower.
- Please stop ! Ancalagon (talk) 12:36, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
Please do not remove warnings[edit]

If you have received warnings for copyright issues, please familiarize yourself with our policy on licensing. You can also ask for help at the village pump or the help desk if you need assistance.
