Thomaskirche[edit]
Hallo! Ich habe gestern eines neues Bild der Thomaskirche in Essen Stoppenberg gemacht und konnte dabei u.a. auf deine tolle Kategorisierung zurückgreifen. Mit deinem Einverständnis würde ich dein ursprüngliches Foto unter [1] durch meines austauschen, da es mehr Details zeigt und das Bauwerk noch etwas stärker in den Kontext des Standortes setzt. Würde durch das neue Foto eine wichtige Info verlorengehen? Wäre das OK für dich?

Postbank Hochhaus - Bild getauscht[edit]
Ich war gestern zufällig in Essen mit dem Rad unterwegs und habe ein neues Foto vom de:Postbank-Hochhaus (Essen) gemacht. Ich habe dein vorheriges Foto ausgetauscht, ich hoffe das Austausch geht für dich in Ordnung (s. Versionslog). --Tuxyso (talk) 06:38, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
Von der ehemaligen Krupp Verwaltung habe ich auch zwei neue Fotos gemacht. Dein bisheriges zeigt eine sehr extreme Perspektive. Was denkst du über einen Austausch? Welches der beiden Fotos von mir ist besser geeignet, was meinst du?

Hallo Tuxyso,
- zu Bild 1: Positiv, dass das Firmensymbol gut sichtbar ist, damit klar wird, dass das Gebäude noch immer vom Kruppnachfolger genutzt wird. Andererseits ist nur der Westflügel kpl. sichtbar.
- zu Bild 2: Positiv, dass der ganze Komplex sichtbar ist, andererseits ohne Firmenlogo und mit "kitschiger" Sonnenspiegelung.
Beiden Bildern gemein scheint mir eine gefälschte Farbgebung. Die Backsteine sind selbst in der späten Nachmittagssonne deutlich dunkler. Und ja, mein Bild ist natürlich nicht optimal, gibt aber wohl das Gebäude in punkto Farben etwas realistischer wieder und zeigt das Frimenschild.
Soweit zumindest mein Eindruck. (Übrigens: das Bild des ehem. Postcheckamtes habe ich vom RWE Turm aus gemacht. Problem ist hier die 1-2 Meter entfernte, dreckige Glasfront, die einfach kein klares und scharfes Bild zulässt und oft spiegelt. Da kann auch Adobe nix richten ;-) )

- Danke für deine Rückmeldung und Einschätzung. Unrealstisch ist glaube ich der falsche Ausdruck. Wenn Abends die Sonne auf dem Gebäude steht hat die Fassade eben eine schöne warme Tönung (so ist es bei dem Postbank-Tower ja auch, den ich fotografiert habe) Klar könnte man einen Weißabgleich auf die weißen Fenster, die in der Sonne stehen, durchführen, so geht allerdings die abendliche Stimmung verloren. Ein extremeres Beispiel kurz vor Sonnenuntergang: File:Von-Graefe-Strasse-46-Muelheim-2013.jpg (sah in "Wirklichkeit" noch röter aus). Zu der fotografierten Uhrzeit Gebäude etwas anders aus als bei neutralem Tageslicht. Ich hatte übrigens gedacht, dass dich mehr die Baustelle stören würde, die auf meinem Foto der Krupp-Zentrale zu sehen ist. Ich hatte dort extra die roten Absperrungen etwas entsättigt, damit sie nicht so sehr in den Blick fallen. Auf einem Foto ist der Thyssen-Krupp-Schild bei mir übrigens auch zu sehen.
P.S.: Kommt man auf den RWE-Turm eigentlich als "Normalsterblicher" drauf? --Tuxyso (talk) 05:49, 29 May 2013 (UTC)- Ja, die Baustelle ist derzeit natürlich auch etwas störend. Ein paar neue Kirchenfotos...[edit]
Guten Abend! Ich bin echt begeistert, du hast offenbar ja ganz Essen fotografiert... Ich dachte, dass ich heute bei einer abendlichen Radtour ein paar Kirchen erwische, die noch nicht auf Commons hochgeladen sind. Ich habe mich übrigens an deiner tollen Kategorisierung orientiert und diese auch für meine Fotos übernommen. Meinst du es ist sinnvoll für die Kirchen, sofern mehr als ein Foto vorhanden ist, eine eigene Kategorie anzulegen? Das würde zukünftigen Fotos von anderen Fotografen die Kategorisierung zusätzlich erleichtern.
Vielleicht schaust du die folgende Fotos mal kurz an (dreie sind bereit auf QIC nominiert) und gibst mir eine kurze Rückmeldung, ob du einen Austausch in de-WP für sinnvoll hälst:

- Hallo! Sorry, lese gerade erst Deinen Beitrag. Klar können meine Bilder in Wikipediaartikeln gegen bessere ausgetauscht werden. Zumal sie teils älter und teils mit Handy oder einer alten Kompaktkamera gemacht sind. Da kann natürlich von keiner besonderen Qualität gesprochen werden. Bei der Kreuzeskirche habe ich es mir sofort erlaubt! Tolles Bild, und dann noch das Rathaus im Hintergrund, klasse getroffen! Die Christuskirche ist bereits eingebunden. St-Antonius-Abbas-Kirche-2013-01.jpg ist auch gut, jedoch zeigt mein altes Bild von "hinten" mehr Details der Kirche. Bei der Fronleichnamskirche stimme ich aber aufgrund der Perspektive nicht zu. Die Architektur kommt auf dem alten Bild besser durch, jetzt stören natürlich die belaubten Bäume. Und Kategorien pro Kirche, wenn mehr als ein Bild vorhanden ist, finde ich in jedem Fall sinnvoll. Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze[edit]
Hallo Wiki05,
in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.
Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.
In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen[edit]
Hallo Wiki05,
nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.
Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.
Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2019[edit]
Hallo Wiki05,
bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2019 findet zum neunten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!
Es sind viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Neben beeindruckenden märchenhaften Schlössern, Burgen und Kirchen können auch andere Kulturdenkmale wie Brücken, Industrieruinen, Bauernhöfe oder Parks fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die sich über Fotos freuen. Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.
Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art. Sollte noch Technik fehlen, die aber in Zukunft unbedingt benötigt wird, dann freut sich Wikimedia Deutschland über dein Feedback zum Technikpool.
Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Mitte September 2019 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

Es ist richtig, dass der Hof zwischenzeitlich wohl "Hof Köllmann" hieß (so ist er auch in der Essener Denkmalliste eingetragen), aber sowohl der ursprüngliche als auch der aktuelle Name ist "Klosterberghof" (oder "Klosterbergerhof"). Außerdem gibt es auch einen Hof Köllmann in Leithe (den du ja auch fotografiert hast), das macht es doppelt verwirrend.
Spricht etwas dagegen, dass ich das Bild umbenenne? Dazu eine Erläuterung zur Namensgeschichte.
