Hi Tyk. I noticed that you've made a malformed deletion request. Here, {{Delete}} is not for speedy deletion, please see COM:DP. Templates

If you want to see clogged, see these changes to Template:Counties of Ireland. I still don't get the purpose of footnotes in a template and the discussion is beyond difficult to resolve. Ricky81682 (talk) 20:32, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

I totally agree, Ricky, the templates should be as simple and discreet as possible. Another silly footnote is the one that appears in many countries' templates to say "partly in Europe" or África, as if this needed to be explained in a template of all places. tyk (talk) 20:57, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
