Cantones[edit]

80.58.247.136 08:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.[edit]

I see you are the creater of this image:

I was hoping you may be able to make a small correction to it. Malta is country where 66% of the population speak Italian [1]. However, the country is not in the map. There is some more information about the history of the Italian language on the island here: Languages of Malta:Italian.

The map has the categories as:

  • 0-4%
  • 5-9%
  • 10-19%
  • Native

If you re-make it, could you have the categories as:

  • 0-4%
  • 5-9%
  • 10-49%
  • 50%+
  • Native

This format will allow a category for Malta, and will also make the map's key be more likenable to the Spanish, French, and German equivalents:

which have:
  • 0-4%
  • 5-9%
  • 10-19%
  • 20-49%
  • 50%+
  • Native
which is the same as my suggestion, except my one merges the "10-19%" and "20-49%" categories, because if they were split, the "20-49%" one would have been empty.

Malta would be in the "50%+" category, and the other countries would stay in their same categories.

I hope this isn't too much to ask. Please reply. Thanks. 78.146.51.45 09:59, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for your comments. I'm rather busy at the moment but I'll make the suggested changes as soon as I can. In the meantime, please feel free to change whatever you consider necessary. Regards--Té y kriptonita (talk) 14:25, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish language is not the native language in Catalunya, but Catalan (1)--Paco 11:07, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is as native as French can be at Morocco or English at India. A language imposed by colonialist invasion. Made legal through thousands of prohibitions of the native language! Your point of view is biassed.--Paco 20:29, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am amazed by your sensibility: irrelevant? Please tell me only 3 languages that need such a pressure to be imposed from 1482 to 2008. By the way, thanks for your lesson about my country, very illustrative. You are confusing official and native languages. Anyway, all your examples are from Barcelona, so you are also confusing Catalonia and Barcelona.--Paco 18:12, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't bother, I'll not confuse Sevilla and Andalusia. Significantly you could not give the only 3 languages examples!.--Paco 19:42, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why are Estonia and Slovenia not colored in? TShilo12 (talk) 01:27, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
