2020 Tennessee State Senate elections map request[edit]

Hello! I wanted to commend you for your work on the maps of the Alaska and Virginia legislative districts, and I wanted to make a request for a map if you would be willing and able. Would you be willing to create a map for the 2020 Tennessee State Senate elections? I had previously devoted a lot of time to compiling the data for that election to have its own Wikipedia page, but I lack the know how to give it a good map. If you could make a map of the legislative races, I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you for all of your hard work! Count Awesome (talk) 06:18, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I'll work on it soon Twotwofourtysix (talk) 06:29, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Count Awesome: ✓ Done. If you want to edit the map later, I suggest using Inkscape, especially for beginners. Twotwofourtysix (talk) 08:45, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2020 Tennessee House of Representatives map request[edit]

Hello! I wanted to sincerely express my appreciation for the map you created of the Tennessee Senate. It was excellent! I apologize for the great delay in expressing my gratitude. Would there be any way you could create a map for the 2020 Tennessee House of Representatives election? If so, it would be really appreciated. Thanks! Count Awesome (talk) 23:53, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Count Awesome: Maybe I will, definitely later. There are a whole lot more state house districts than state senate ones, of course! But just so you know, if you have the previous 2018 state house elections in the works, there's already an existing map for that at File:Tennessee State House 2018.png. Thanks. Creating older Chicago Ward map[edit]

Hello, thank you for your contribution of svg map files. Could you make a svg map of the 2003-2015 Chicago ward boundaries: https://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=481786 I wanted to use it as a reference to make the results maps for the past chicago mayoral election pages on wikipedia. Putitonamap98 (talk) 08:31, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Putitonamap98: ✓ Done: File:City of Chicago wards map (2003–2015).svg. Twotwofourtysix (talk) 05:47, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
:@Twotwofourtysix: Wow thank you so much, that was fast! The maps are very nice and accurate. I have already created the new election map files and I have given you credit in the description.
While you are at it could you also make the old Los Angeles city council maps:
https://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=200992
https://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=36000
Really glad to have someone to do this, keep up the good work! Putitonamap98 (talk) 11:51, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, did you get them made yet? Putitonamap98 (talk) 20:20, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I don't feel like doing it. You can extract the svg from Ourcampaigns directly using Inspect Element or ask someone else at Commons:Graphic Lab/Map workshop to do it. Twotwofourtysix (talk) 23:39, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You could have just told me that a long time ago lol Putitonamap98 (talk) 05:08, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How do you make your maps?[edit]

Hello! I am somewhat new to Wikipedia, but want to take it to the next level and start creating maps. You make amazing maps, but I want to start slowly then work my way up. I was curious to how you make county maps like these, where you take the Wiki county map and color them! Thank you! WezouskyMike (talk) 06:26, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Of course, I don't make that map, but to your point: For beginners, you can download a statewide county map at Category:Standardized SVG county maps of US states, and then use Inkscape to colour the counties one-by-one. There's a guide out there on Twitter that I can dig up if you want. Twotwofourtysix (talk) 06:34, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes please! MarioBayo (talk) 17:02, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New Alabama CD map[edit]

Hi, Twotwofourtysix. I see that you've been active in the past creating maps of Alabama's congressional districts, and a new one just came out. If you're intererested, check out either of these links: United States District Court, Northern District of Alabama (map in appendix), or WDIY (news article). Cheers, Mathglot (talk) 01:44, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I've heard the news. I'll start creating them in due course, thanks. Twotwofourtysix (talk) 02:32, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 00:55, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mississippi 2023 map[edit]

Can you update the map Winston County was narrowly won by Presley, 49.95% to Reeves' 48.63%. This hasn't been reflected by the Associated Press, but the most recent count of votes on the Winston County government website shows Presley ahead. Uinko (talk) 03:52, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File:2023 Slovak legislative election - Vote Strength.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Hi, I think this legislative election map hasn't been updated. The official results from the KPU have been announced.

Terima kasih. Ekky1995 (talk) 05:51, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you update File:Link light rail geographic map.svg by coloring the dashed section of the Blue Line between the South Bellevue station and the Redmond Technology station, which opened to service on 27 April 2024?
