A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Les Mousquemers en 1948.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!

Hello Patrick Rogel, I don't uploaded this picture. The uploader is Bernard Tailliez (the son of Philippe Tailliez). I just clean this picture. Cordialement, --Trecătorul răcit (talk) 14:57, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bulgarian Patriarchate[edit]

Hello. From what I understood and analysed to supervise the making of File:Timeline of the History of the main autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Churches, E. Orthodox point of view (2021).svg, the first Bulgarian Orthodox Church was not based in Ohrid, but in Preslav. Also to quote an academic: "one must make a strict distinction between the region of the Archbishopric of Ohrid and that of the Bulgarian empire of 1185 to 1396 and the Patriarchate of Bulgaria (1235 – before 1410) with its see in Tărnovo" (The autocephalous Byzantine ecclesiastical province of Bulgaria/Ohrid. How independent were its archbishops?). Veverve (talk) 13:35, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Veverve: Bonjour !
Veverve (talk) 16:05, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Veverve: Ce sont J. Fine, The Late Medieval Balkans, A Critical Survey from the late Twelfth Century to the Ottoman Conquest, University of Michigan Press 1994, ISBN 0-472-08260-4, pp. 191-192 et Mark Whittow, The Making of Byzantium (600–1025), University of California Press, Los Angeles 1996, ISBN 0-520-20497-2, p.297.
Tu as donné The Late Medieval Balkans, A Critical Survey from the late Twelfth Century to the Ottoman Conquest, mais c'est en fait The Early Medieval Balkans: A Critical Survey from the Sixth to the Late Twelfth Century.
"The only émigré from the east whom the sources mention is the patriarch Damian who fled from Preslav when Tzimiskes conquered that city and abolished his office. Samuel shortly thereafter made Damian patriarch of a new patriarchate which Samuel established in Ohrid." - The Early Medieval Balkans: A Critical Survey from the Sixth to the Late Twelfth Century, p. 191-2.
"Romanos survived and according to Yahya ibn Sa‘td, the Christian Arabic historian who reports the most likely version of events, he was crowned emperor, presumably by the patriarch of Bulgaria (now re-established in the west)." - The Making of Byzantium (600–1025), p. 297.
Veverve (talk) 17:05, 19 April 2021 (UTC). I see nothing concerning this subject on p. IX or 9 of the Valentina Georgieva, Sasha Konechni, Historical Dictionnary of the Republic of Macedonia, Scarecrow Press, 1998. The only thing I can find is on p. XX, where the taking of Preslav in the "970s" is mentioned. I am unable to consult Iordan Andreev, Ivan Lazarov, Plamen Pavlov, Koj koj e v srednovekovna Bălgarija, Sofia 1999, what does it say exactly? Veverve (talk) 19:50, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
File:Suur-Suomen kartta.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Coming back to this one, your comment on the deletion discussion did not make any sense? This map, appropriatly named "Greater Finland" is *definitely* not about cultural proximity, and whining about being accused of separatism while presenting a very definitive jingoist image of a Greater Finnish space" is very, very weird and non-sensical. Care to elaborate? --HolonZeias (talk) 16:23, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @HolonZeias: . To my knowledge, Finland has never demanded to annex the Kola Peninsula or Estonia??? Whether nationalist or fascist fanatics did it, that is possible. Apart from linguistic and cultural resemblance, I do not see what can link these regions together. --2A01:CB1C:821F:A400:88A7:A3A5:1F59:E9DB 17:22, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's my exact point. This is a non-sensical 2000s map with internet meme claims on linguistically somewhat similar regions, along with random jingoism. HolonZeias (talk) 19:14, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
