Hi, I am going to revert for a second time, which I much prefer to avoid.

If you still disagree with the rationale, which is based on the verifiable source, then please take it up on the image talk page first and we can ask for mediation if necessary. Thanks -- (talk) 12:34, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You know it is now impossible to upload my version as a separate file, because it has already been uploaded somewhere else. The upload wizard returns the following error message :
Selfportrait_of_Raffaelo,_Uffizi_Florence.jpg
This file is a duplicate of the following files:
File:Selfportrait of Raffaelo, Uffizi Florence.jpg
Unknown filename
I confirm that my version is exactly like the painting you can see at the Uffizi gallery. I must add that "yellow" faces are common in classic art, though it may appear a bit strange in our modern world, which has adopted different norms for digital pictures resulting in excessive contrast, altered colors and fake white balance. So I understand that people may be surprised when seeing the real and original colors of classic paintings.
Regards. -- Teslard (talk) 07:32, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You should be free to upload your own photograph as a new file. If you had difficulties previously, this would have been because the file was already the 'primary' file having overwritten another. However you must upload as a new file with your own personal copyright release, not overwrite existing versions which are accurately sourced. By doing so you are making false claims about copyright of your own image. Refer to COM:Overwrite. Thanks -- (talk) 11:29, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello , that's what I did today, thank you. If you are not convinced by the original colors, you can check them here for exemple: you clearly see the yellow coloring of the face. So I added my version to the gallery of File:Raffaello Sanzio.jpg. It is obvious for me that File:Raffaello Sanzio.jpg has a wrong white balance and gives people a false idea of the original artwork. -- Teslard (talk) 12:31, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
