Unfortunately, there are no panorama freedom, so photos of modern monuments (it monument is main subject of image) can't be used commercially. See article 19 of Belarus copyrights law for details. Please don't upload such images on Commons in future.

Názvy ulíc v mestách na Slovensku

Ahoj Amba! Mohol by si prosím vo vytváraní zemepisných kategorií používať názvy danej krajiny? Commons je medzinárodný projekt, ktorý by sa mal pridržiavať určitých medzinárodných zvyklostí v názvosloví a nie pocitu, že všetko je tu iba pre mňa...bolo by rovnako absurdné keby som vytváral názvy kategórií v slovenčine pre akékoľvek miesto na svete okrem Slovenska. Nechcem sa dotknúť Tvojho národného cítenia, ale podobný problém som už riešil tu. Želám Ti pekný deň, --Pescan (talk) 09:14, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Ahoj Amba! Naozaj som to nemyslel zle. Pamätám sa, že kedysi boli cestné značenia na Slovensku typu smer "Viedeň" namiesto "Wien". Ale niekto kto nerozumie po slovensky sotva vie čo znamená slovo Viedeň. Z toho dôvodu sa používa zásada geografických názvov zaužívaných v danej krajine, prípadne ich transkripcia do latinky (v našom prípade). Plne súhlasím rôznorodosťou národných kultúr a ich vzájomnou toleranciou a úctou. Môj otec pochádza z juhu Slovenska a moja babka bola Maďarka, prababka bola Rakúšanka, sestra žije v Česku a moja budúca žena je Poľka... Pozerám sa na veci z nadhľadu, myslím ako každý rozumný človek ;) Vážim si Tvoju prácu pre Wiki, tak Ti želám veľa zdaru do budúcnosti. --Pescan (talk) 19:29, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
