Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Catgory

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Deine Fotos

Hallo Syker Fotograf, du hast viele schöne Fotos gemacht, danke. Kannst du bitte den Fotos eine Beschreibung hinzufügen die sie beschreibt. Auch sollte die Dateinamen aus einer kurzen Beschreibung bestehen. Wenn das bei den Dateinamen und der Beschreibung nicht so ist dann wird es schwierig in Hinblick auf Kategorisierung und Nutzung. Wenn du die Beschreibung übernimmst, biete ich an die selbständige Dateinamensänderung vorzunehmen. Wir können es abstimmen, auf Wunsch kann ich dir auch schreiben wie du einen anderen Dateinamen beantragst. Beispiele für Dateinamen (kurze Beschreibung): Halle-Segelflugglände Hoya.jpg, wenn ein Gebäude keine Funktion wie Rathaus hat kann man die Adresse angeben <Straße Nr>-<Ort>.jpg. Also ich meine in erster Linie die Fotos wo nicht „jeder“ darauf kommen kann was z. B. für eine Gebäude ist. Also z. B. alle Fotos mit „Hoya“ <nr>.jpg. Wenn bei einem Foto des jeweilige z.B. Gebäude eine Beschreibung hinzugefügt wird reicht das. Mache es dann bei den anderen. Bei z. B. den Rhododendronpark Bremen (Angabe ist schonmal gut) Bilder kann jeder die Namen der Art erforschen, also sind die erstmal nicht so wichtig. Danke.
